Water service interruptions on Monday
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be a scheduled water service interruption for the areas of San Vicente, Papago, Laulau, Tuturam, Upper Dandan Homestead, Obyan, and Naftan on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, from 8am to 4pm.
This will allow CUC’s contractor for the San Vicente Water Tank Replacement Project, GPPC Inc., to connect the 6-inch PVC pipes to the existing transmission lines to allow temporary water service during the replacement of the existing tank. As a result of the new tank, a more reliable water system will be provided to the community.
This is an ongoing project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Power service interruption on Monday
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be a scheduled power service interruption on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, from 9am to 10am for the areas of Lower Base, Tanapag, As Mahetog, Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis and Marpi.
• Traffic light affected: Lower Base (near Saipan Ice and Water Company)
• Water well affected: As Matuis, San Roque, Achugao and Tanapag
Wastewater Lift Station Affected: T-1, T-3, SR-1, SR-2 and SR-3
This will de-energize lines so that CUC linemen can safely replace deteriorated hardware on the primary power poles along Chalan Pale Arnold Road on Feeder 7 and near Pacific Marine Enterprise in Tanapag and Camille Gardenia Apartment in Marpi.
