Cruise line promotes 6-day, 5-night cruise

A cruise line that will hop-scotch throughout Southeast Asia is offering a six-day, five-night cruise trip from March 19 to May 23 that starts in Manila, Philippines going to Laoag, Philippines, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and Hong Kong before completing the loop back to Manila.
Star Cruises’ Superstar Virgo, which could accommodate 1,870 passengers, is offering a promotional fare as low as $490 per passenger for an inside stateroom that measures about 150 sq. ft., with discounts for every third or fourth passenger for reservations made before the departure dates of March 19, 24, and 29.
For March, the Oceanview Stateroom, which measures about 160 sq. ft., goes for $610 per passenger. The Balcony Stateroom, which measures about 200 sq. ft., goes for $760 per passenger, the Junior Suite, which measures about 450 sq. ft., goes for $980 per passenger, and the Executive Suite, which measures about 600 sq. ft., goes for $1,230 per passenger.
For departure dates April 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, and 28 and May 3, 8, 13, 18, and 23, prices are higher for each room per passenger.
A port charge of $165 would also be charged per passenger.
Star Cruises is owned by international hotel chain Resorts World.
It was awarded the “Best Asia Cruise Experience” award in Porthole Cruise Magazine’s 2012 Editor-in-Chief awards.
Travel Trade Gazette Asia, or TTG Asia, inducted Star Cruises into its 2011 “Travel Hall of Fame.”
