Share

On Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at about 10:50am, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a criminal mischief incident at the Community Guidance Center on Navy Hill. DPS dispatched police to the scene.

At the scene, police met with the caller who stated that two air-conditioning units have been damaged. The caller added that both units were brand new and have been purchased about a month ago. The caller mentioned that the staff noticed the air-conditioning units were not blowing cool air, so they decided to call an air conditioning technician. When the technicians did a quick inspection of the unit they noticed that two outdoor units were damaged. The first unit had two holes on the side of its condenser as the second unit had dents, which looked to have been caused by force. The staff then called for police assistance.

If you or someone you know have any information about this crime, we encourage you to call 911. If you would like to remain anonymous call the CNMI Crime Stoppers hotline at 234-7272. (PR)
