COVID-19 UPDATE: 51 new cases ID’d

Fifty-one additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 from surveillance and travel testing, bringing the CNMI total to 3,802 cases since March 28, 2020. The individuals have been isolated and are actively monitored. 

Of the 51 cases identified: 

  • 48 were identified on Jan. 12, 2022(two on Rota, two on Tinian), 2 on Jan. 11, and 1 on Jan. 7 
  • 20 identified viacontact tracing, 21 via community testing, 10 via travel testing
