Couple pleads guilty to selling fake Viagra

A couple charged for their involvement in selling Viagra-like pills on Saipan pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday.

Kwok Kwun Lee pleaded guilty to count 4 of the indictment charging him with receipt and delivery of misbranded drugs.

Sook Lan Wong pleaded guilty to a one-count information charging her with receipt and delivery of misbranded drugs.

They will be sentenced on Aug. 10, 2012.

U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona granted Lee’s request to amend his pretrial release conditions by releasing his passport due to his current health conditions.

Lee is a Chinese national, while Wong is a Malaysian national.
