Corporate Challenge set for May 25
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is now gearing up for the 2014 Corporate Challenge and is urging companies to register.
This year’s Corporate Challenge will take place on May 25, Sunday, at the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe.
The company tent setup will take place a day before the event on May 24, Saturday, from 8am to 5pm. The event will officially start the following day, Sunday, from 8am to 5pm.
SCC’s Corporate Challenge provides fun, games, sizzling barbecue, corporate displays, music, a company outing opportunity, and worn out team players by day’s end.
Registration fee is set at $300 per team and all proceeds will go to SCC’s scholarship fund and educational endeavors.
Deadline for registration is on May 9, Friday, at 5pm and participation is limited to the first 20 teams to register.
Team roster and waiver forms must be dropped at SCC’s office no later than May 21.
If participants exceed six, additional copies for sign up must be made.
The 2014 Corporate Challenge is hosted to celebrate the workforce of the CNMI.
Last year’s teams included FHP/TakeCare, ASC Trust, DFS Galleria, G4S Security, IT&E, Coca Cola/Glimpses, IP&E, Triple J Enterprises/Hertz, Fiesta Resort, CUC, MarPac Distributors, Delta Management, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Pacific Islands Club, Xerox Corp., and Saipan Shipping Co.
FHP/TakeCare Insurance topped last year’s Corporate Challenge, which was a softball competition.
In related news, the Saipan Chamber’s general meeting will be held this Wednesday, May 7, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Sandcastle at 11:30am.
Team captains meeting for the Corporate Challenge is scheduled for May 12, at 3:30pm.
