Police arrested in Gualo Rai a 20-year-old man a few minutes after he allegedly stole a vehicle from a store on Capital Hill yesterday afternoon.

Acting Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Jason Tarkong said police spotted suspect Hitler Sem Weilbacher driving the stolen 2014 Toyota 4 Runner on Middle Road, or Chalan Pale Arnold Road.

Police pulled over the vehicle, which was heading south across Highway Express.

Tarkong said investigation showed that a 39-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both Chinese, had parked their Toyota 4 Runner in the parking lot of a store on Capital Hill during lunch hour.

The two left their vehicle running as they walked into the store. When the two came out, the car was already gone.

Police reviewed the surveillance video at the store and identified the suspect as Weilbacher.

Someone was able to take a video of Weilbacher’s arrest. The arrest went smoothly but the video went viral on social media.
