HAGATNA, Guam—Honolulu Cookie Company announced that its second location in Guam at the Plaza Shopping Center in Tumon Bay is now open for business.

Located at Suite 153 of the Outrigger Guam Beach Resort at 1275 Pale San Vitores Road, the new store offers the full range of the company’s freshly baked, premium pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies in island-inspired flavors.

“Our newest location allows us to share the tastes of the tropics with many that might not venture out from the Tumon Bay area when visiting Guam,” said regional sales manager Julie Plant, referring to the upscale resort area popular with tourists.

Honolulu Cookie Company opened its first Guam store last November at Micronesia Mall in Dededo, the island’s largest shopping complex. Sales at this location have been strong, prompting the Honolulu-based company to expand less than one year later.

“Our signature packaging has been well received in Guam with our Pineapple Wrap Box and Pineapple Tin among the favorites. We also offer an exclusive Guam Gift Box, which has also proven to be popular with our customers,” said director of Product Development Liza Inouye

A nine-piece Guam Gift Tin, shaped like the island itself, is also now available at the Micronesia Mall and Plaza Shopping Center stores, as well as online.

The new location is Honolulu Cookie Company’s fourth store outside of Hawaii and the 17th store in its stand-alone retail operations, adding to a portfolio of locations in Hawaii and Las Vegas. The company expects to hire 10 full-time staff members to work at the Tumon Bay store, which is open from 10am to 11pm. daily.
