Community invited to NMC’s 35th Charter Day this weekend
To celebrate 35 years of enriching lives through higher education, the Northern Marianas College is inviting the community to its biggest celebration of the year, Charter Day, on April 8 and 9, 2016.
The theme for this year’s Charter Day is: “Best Charter Day Ever.”
“We are inviting everyone to join us in As Terlaje for our Charter Day celebration,” said Leo Pangelinan, dean of Student Services. “We’ll be showcasing various programs, hosting fun competitions, and of course, featuring great entertainment. We also thank the sponsors for making this event possible.”
The Charter Day celebration is sponsored by the following: Best Sunshine International, Bank of Guam, IT&E, Saipan Ice & Water Co., Kanoa Resort, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Pacific Islands Club (PIC), Power 99, Coca-Cola Beverage Company, Foremost, NMC Cooperative Research Extension & Education Services, Saipan Ice Inc., NMC College Access Challenge Grant, Pacific Trading Co., Pacifica Insurance, KKMP Radio, Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, Herman’s Bakery, and the NMC Children’s Healthy Living program.
NMC’s 35th Anniversary Charter Day celebration will be held for two days: April 8, from 3:30pm to 9pm and April 9, from 9am to 4pm at the NMC South Field.
