Palauans in NMI to mark Independence Day
This is to inform all Palauans living in the CNMI of the 17th Palau Independence Day celebration on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, from 10am to 5pm, at the Laly 4-Chalan Kanoa Beach, Saipan.
All Palauan youth are encouraged to attend the event as there will also be the annual PCA Youth Club Election at 9am to elect new youth officers for school year 2011-2012. DEQ brigade sets Saturday cleanup
The Division of Environmental Quality’s monthly cleanup brigade is picking up trash at Marine Beach in Kagman on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
If you would like to volunteer, meet the DEQ representative at 8am at the beach parking lot. Volunteers will split into groups and clean north, south, east, and west until 10am and break for drinks and then continue, if needed.
