No tsunami watch or warning

The CNMI Emergency Operations Center would like to inform the public that at 10:23am yesterday morning, CHST, Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, there was an earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 8.3 on the Richter scale near the coast of Chile and recorded at the CNMI EOC office on Capital Hill, Saipan.

There is no tsunami watch or warning in effect for the entire CNMI as of this time. The CNMI Emergency Operations Center will continue to monitor the situation and will be issuing necessary bulletins as soon as it becomes available. CNMI Judiciary operations schedule

Business hours for the CNMI Judiciary on Saipan for Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, through Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, will be 8am to 5pm.

Business hours for the CNMI Judiciary on Saipan for Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, will be 8am until noon.

On Rota and Tinian, business hours will be 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, through Friday, Sept. 25, 2015.

Changes to this schedule, and the Judiciary’s schedule for the week beginning Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, will be disseminated on the Judiciary’s website, www.justice.gov.mp, and through other media. (NMI Judiciary)
