PTSA meeting at Oleai Elementary today

The PTSA officers of Oleai Elementary School would like to inform parents and guardians of Oleai Elementary School students that we will be having our first PTSA meeting for school year 2014-2015 today, Sept. 9, 2014, at 6pm in the school cafeteria. We encourage our parents and guardians to attend this important meeting. (PR)

CCA board meeting on Sept. 23

The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at 3pm at the CCA conference room. Navy training at Warning Area 517

ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Warning Area 517 on Sept. 12 from 6am to 11:59pm. The general public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators—are advised to stay clear from the area during the times and date indicated. W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprising of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. This will affect fishing in the vicinity of Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank. (PR)

All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association monthly support meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25, starting at 5:30pm at the Chamolinian Room of the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
