Islandwide Cleanup today
The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality cleanup will again deviate from its regular first Saturday of the month in support of the governor’s scheduled Islandwide Cleanup today, Sept. 4, 2015. Contact Ivan Blanco of the Governor’s Office at 237-2232 to register. Our regular International Coastal Cleanup will also be re-scheduled to a later date.

This cleanup will count toward participation in BECQ’s scheduled monthly brigades. This month, outstanding brigade volunteers who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated in at least three cleanups will receive a brigade T-shirt.

For more information about volunteering, contact the BECQ office at 664-8500/1. (BECQ)
