Scheduled water outage today

There will be a scheduled water outage today, Sept. 26, 2017, from 8am to 5pm in the As Terlaje, Chalan Laulau (Beach Road and Middle Road) and Gualo Rai areas.

This is intended to allow a contractor of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., AIC Marianas Inc., to connect a new transmission line to the existing mainline and install a new isolation valve to the new water tank at the Northern Marianas College. Required work is needed for the preparation of the disinfection and testing of the tank. Customers in the affected areas should expect restoration of services soon after.

This project is part of the Tank Replacement Project and funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Completion of the project will provide a more reliable water system.
