Saipan chamber meeting today
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will hold its general membership meeting today, Sept. 2, at 11:30am in the Royal Taga Hall of the Saipan World Resort. The main speakers will be Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan; Stephen DeBlasio, FEMA, Federal Coordinating Officer; and William Koontz, U.S. Small Business Administration, public information officer. Guests are welcome at the non-member price of $30; members pay $20. (SCC)
SVES orientation schedule
San Vicente Elementary School will be having a back-to-school orientation to discuss important information for school year 2015-2016. Students may accompany their parents/guardians during the orientation. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet with the students and parents/guardians to share expectations set forth for the school year. We encourage all SVS families to attend the scheduled orientation time, as we will be sharing important information regarding our modified school schedule and school policies. Orientation will take place in the school cafeteria.
