Dandan Middle School PTSA meeting set
Dandan Middle School will be having its first PTSA meeting for school year 2014-2015 today, Sept. 16, at 6pm, in the school’s Cafeteria.  DMS highly encourages parents and guardians to attend this important meeting. (DMS)

MHS sets College Fair today
Marianas High School will be hosting a College Fair today, Sept. 16, 2014, at the MHS Gymnasium. MHS students will be entertained from 10:30am to 12:40pm. The fair will then be open to the public from 4pm to 7pm. (MHS)

MHS PTA meeting on Wednesday
All Marianas High School parents, teachers and students are invited to attend the first PTA meeting for this school year on Wednesday Sept. 17, 2014. at 6:30pm in the MHS Dolphin Theatre. The meeting will include reports from the MHS administration and the MHS Student Council about their plans for the new school year as well as elections of 2014-2015 PTA officers. (MHS)

Free lecture on Chamorro language research
A presentation on The Chamorro Language across Islands and Generations will be given onSaipan (Sept. 18), and Tinian (Sept. 22). This is a report on the latest research into Chamorro language processing by the Chamorro Psycholinguistics na Project team of Sandy Chung, Matt Wagers, and Manny F. Borja. The presentation on Saipan will be at the American Memorial Park at 6pm, and the presentation on Tinian will be at the Gineftao Center at 5:30pm. The presentation is free to the public and all are welcome. (PR)

CCA board meeting on Sept. 23
The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at 3pm at the CCA conference room. All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association monthly support meeting on Thursday, Sept. 25, starting at 5:30pm at the Chamolinian Room of the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
