Military and Guam Police training
SANTA RITA, Guam—The U.S. Navy will conduct training today, Oct. 21, from 3pm to 9pm, in Outer Apra Harbor.
The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises on Oct. 22-23, from 5pm to 9pm within a 10-nautical-mile radius of the coordinates: 13˚26”N/145˚08”E, 13˚42”N/144˚36”E.
It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
The Guam Police Department will conduct training on Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 24-25, from 8am to 5pm at Radio Barrigada.
The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on Oct. 26, from 10:30am to 4:30pm, at the island of Farallon de Medinilla.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be within a 12-nautical-mile radius of the island, located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Guam Passport Office closed on Wednesday
The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation announces the closure of its Guam Passport Office on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, from 8am to 5pm for annual training with the U.S. Department of State. Regular office hours of 8am to 5pm will resume on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019. (PR)
