Japanese Society to host Autumn Festival on Oct. 24

The Japanese Society of Northern Marianas will be hosting the Japanese Society Charity Autumn Festival this Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the Sugar King Park in Garapan. The public is invited to join the event, which will last from 11am to 2pm. The festival will feature a bazaar, raffle games, ring toss, shooting game, super ball, water balloon fishing, and stage performances. Food will be also sold, including yaki-soba, kara-age, yaki-meshi, tako-yaki, shaved ice, cuny rice, beef bowl, ramen, oden, sauce-senbei, yaki-tori, etc. (PR)

Election of Saipan little league board this Saturday

Please inform all interested members that the nomination and voting for the 2015 and 2016 board of directors for the Saipan Little League Baseball Inc. will be held this coming Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at 10am at Ada Gym pavilion. (PR)

Pink Warrior Walkathon this Saturday

The Pink Warrior Walkathon will be held this Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. Registration starts at 6am at the Naked Fish parking lot where you’ll submit your pledge forms. Children get a DFEMS fire helmet when $100 is pledged. Adults get a pink DFEMS T-shirt when $100 is pledged. Pledge forms are available at all fire stations and Bank of Guam Garapan. All proceeds go to the Commonwealth Cancer Association in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join firemen after the walk for a firetruck hands-on display. (DFEMS)
