BOG Tinian re-opens
Effective yesterday, Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, Bank of Guam’s Tinian branch re-opened for business, with the following schedule: Monday through Friday:  9am-4pm; Friday:  9am-6pm; Saturdays: Closed. The Bank of Guam’s Chalan Piao Branch on Saipan remains closed. (PR)

Military to conduct live-fire exercise
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct a live-fire gunnery exercise today, Nov. 29, from 8am to 5pm. The exercise will take place within a 10-nautical mile radius of the following coordinates: 13° 21”N/144° 20”E. It is recommended the public, commercial pilots, fishermen and marine tour operators stay clear from this area during the date and time indicated. These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. (PR)

Red Cross service center at Marianas Business Plaza
The American Red Cross continues to meet with families at the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe. In an effort to reduce lines and wait times, Red Cross is issuing color-coded tickets with time blocks for a specific day. Once an individual receives a ticket they will need to return to the service center at the assigned day/time to meet with a Red Cross caseworker. Red Cross is planning to be at this location until at least Wednesday, Nov. 28; however, the needs of the community will drive how long this site is open. Service center hours are from 9am to 6pm. Chamber seeks BPOY nominees

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominees for its “Business Person of the Year” award for 2018. The winner will be announced on Jan.19, 2019, during the Installation Dinner, when new Chamber officers will be installed. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Saipan Chamber of Commerce website and completed nomination forms should be sent to email executive@saipanchamber.com not later than Jan. 7, 2018. (PR)
