Notice to all CNMI veterans

Traffic cases to be heard at Multi-Purpose
This is to inform the public that the CNMI Superior Court will be hearing all traffic arraignments set for today, Nov. 21, 2019, at 9am at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi- Purpose Building in Susupe. SHRM meeting today
The Society for Human Resource Management-CNMI Chapter will have its general membership meeting today, Nov. 21, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan ballroom, beginning at 8am. The guest speaker will be Jenna Grambort, trial attorney in the Immigrant and Employee Rights Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, who will be presenting information on the INA’s anti-discrimination provision. She will provide helpful information on how to avoid employment discrimination based on citizenship status and national origin.

The results of the election for the 2020 CNMI SHRM board members will also be announced.

Survivors & caregivers support group meeting today
All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association’s monthly support group meeting today, Nov. 21, starting at 5:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. Guest speaker is Dr. Peter Brett, oncologist at the Commonwealth Health Center. His presentation will be on the roles of diet, physical activity and body weight among cancer survivors.
