DCRM closed on Monday, Tuesday

The Bureau of Environmental & Coastal Quality would like to inform the public that the Division of Coastal Resources Management will be closed on Monday, Nov. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, for a professional development workshop. Regular office hours will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022. (PR)

SCC sets December general membership meeting

The monthly general membership meeting of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce will be on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, from 11:30am to 1 Saipan.

Spotlight presentation speaker for the event is vice chairwoman Donna Krum, who will share information about the CNMI Blue Ribbon Initiative.

SCC member and co-founder, David M. Sablan will also discuss the history of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce in a special presentation.

Lunch will be served at 11:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at noon. The luncheon fee is $25/SCC member and $35/non-member. The SCC is accepting reservations. To reserve or for more information, contact the Chamber office at (670) 234-7150 or email coordinator2@saipanchamber.com. (PR)

Free federal contracting webinars

The Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering free workshops this November. Workshops are held every Wednesday from 10am to 11:30am in room 262 of the UOG School of Business and Public Administration (*unless otherwise specified).

– Nov. 23, 2022 – Responding to RFPs – The Guam PTAC will walk participants through the common sections and clauses of an RFP as well as provide tips on developing a proposal in response to an RFP.

– Nov. 30, 2022 – Wide-Area Workflow (WAWF) – Department of Defense vendors use the Wide-Area Workflow module in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment system to create, submit, and track their invoices. The Guam PTAC will show you how to set up an account and submit an invoice so you get paid on time.
