PTSA meeting for Kagman schools
Kagman cluster of schools will be having a Parents Teachers Students Association meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 5pm in the ChaCha Oceanview Middle School cafeteria. Holiday closures at AMP
American Memorial Park officials would like to inform the public that the Visitor Center will be closed in observance of the following federal holidays:
• Nov. 23, 2017: Thanksgiving Day
• Dec. 25, 2017: Christmas Day
• Jan. 1, 2018: New Year’s Day
On these days, the rest of the park will remain open. Park staff would like to encourage the public to explore the Visitor Center. With the exception of the holidays, the visitor center is open every day from 9am to 5pm.

PH consulate outreach this week
The Philippine Consulate General in Guam, in coordination with the Office of Honorary Consul Eli Arago, will conduct a mobile consular outreach in the CNMI this week until Nov. 17, 2017, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, from 9am to 6pm. Those who wish to renew their passport may submit their application at the Finasisu Terraces, Apartment Building D, second floor (top of the Mini-Mart Store), Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (12pm to 1pm, break time). FOA meeting at Everest Kitchen today
The Friends of the Arts will hold its first member meeting in two years today, Nov. 15, from 6:30pm to 9pm, at the Everest Kitchen Restaurant, on Micro Beach Road across the American Memorial Park and next to Bridge Capital in Garapan. The meeting will also include musical and thespian entertainment. Meal cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children under 11. Military training at Orote Point, FDM
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training at Orote Point today, Nov. 15, from 9am to 8pm. The training will be contained within the following coordinates: 13° 25’ 24”N/144° 38’ 15”E.
The training is designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the trainings.
Training will also take place at the island of Farallon de Medinilla on Nov. 16-18, from 10am to 11:59pm. (PR)
