FESTPAC performers meeting on Nov. 9
The CNMI FESTPAC Programs Sub-Committee will hold a meeting with all registered and interested performers on Monday, Nov. 9, at 5pm at the Carolinian Utt in Garapan. Performers who met earlier this year with the sub-committee should also attend, according to Sub-Committee chair Gordon Marciano. The 12th Festival of Pacific Arts will be held from May 22 to June 4, 2016, in Guam. A mandatory meeting for all CNMI delegates, including those in the categories of literary arts; demonstrations/exhibition; and forums, workshops, seminars of will be scheduled for later this month. Marriage Encounter Weekend set
The Marriage Encounter Weekend is a constructive and personal experience offering married couples an opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. The next CNMI M.E. Weekend is on Nov. 20-22, 2015 at the Kanoa Resort Saipan in Susupe. The cost is $100 per couple and includes two nights’ accommodation, five meals, and all materials. Space is limited to 25 couples.
