SSHS PTSA meeting on Nov. 19

Saipan Southern High School will have a PTSA meeting on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, starting at 5pm in the school cafeteria. All parents and

guardians are encouraged to attend for updates on school projects and information on PTSA events for the school year. (SSHS)

SYP sets Christmas party on Dec. 12

Members of the Saipan Young Professionals Committee will celebrate their Christmas party by the beach on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Barefoot Bar, Kanoa Resort. This event is open to all Saipan Chamber of Commerce members and their representatives or guests. If you would like to purchase tickets for your company or if you would like to sponsor the young professionals in your organization to attend the event, contact the Saipan Chamber of Commerce at (670) 234-7150.  The event will include a sunset buffet dinner, raffle prizes, entertainment, fun games and an awards ceremony honoring outstanding young professionals throughout the island! There will be a PTSA meeting for all Kagman schools on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Kagman High School campus from 5pm to 6pm. Your attendance for this coming meeting is greatly appreciated. CCA board meeting on Nov. 17

The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its regular meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at 3pm at the CCA conference room. Agenda includes reports from the president and program updates. All board meetings are open to the public. Outdoor movie night on Saturday

The Friends of the Arts is sponsoring an outdoor movie night on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Navy Hill ball field (Bring your own chair!). The event will feature two great movies and three show times. How to Train Your Dragon 2 (G) will be screened starting at 7:30pm. This will be followed by The Rocky Horror Picture Show (PG-17) at 10pm and midnight. Ticket price per movie is $5 for adults; $3 for children 11 and under. (FOA)
