OAG Civil Division moves to temporary location

Due to ongoing repairs, the Office of the Attorney General wishes to inform the public that its Civil Division (Capital Hill office) has temporarily moved to the Exhibit Hall of the Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture right next to the Capital Hill Post Office. During this period, members of the public who require the services of the OAG’s Civil Division are advised to visit their temporary office or contact them at telephone number 664-2341 and fax number 664-2349. John Gonzales LIVE schedule 

John Gonzales LIVE on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, will feature the topic “NMIRF officials tell all: The future of retirement pension in the NMI,” with guests Fund administrator Richard S. Villagomez and the Fund’s legal and management team.

The program airs from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on KMCV Channel 14 and rebroadcasts on Monday and Tuesday the following week. John Gonzales LIVE also rebroadcasts on Betelnut Radio (www.betelnutradio.com) at 6pm Pacific Standard Time and 9pm Eastern Standard Time (Thursday, May 10 at 11am Chamorro Standard Time).

Next week, John Gonzales LIVE will feature the topic “Revenue Generating Measure(s),” with guests House Speaker Eli D. Cabrera and Vice Speaker Felicidad T. Ogumoro. It will air live on May 16, 2012, and rebroadcasts on May 21 and 22, all from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on KMCV Channel 14.

Free business workshops

The CNMI Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting the following free workshops:

* How to start a business: May 11, 2012; June 8, 2012. Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

* How to write a business plan: May 18, 2012; June 15, 2012. Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

* How to apply for a bank loan: May 4, 2012; May 25, 2012; June 22, 2012. Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

* How to market your business outside the CNMI: May 7, 2012. Time: 9am to 11am. June 1, 2012; June 29, 2012. Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
