BankGuam Holding Company declares 2nd quarter dividends

BankGuam Holding Company announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share at its board’s regular meeting held on Monday, May 23, 2016. The dividend will be paid on June 30, 2016, to shareholders of record as of June 15, 2016.

BankGuamHolding Company president and chair of the Board, Lou A. Leon Guerrero stated, “I am happy to report that we have met our financial performance for this quarter, thus allowing us to once again provide a return on our shareholder’s investment.” (PR)

Joint Educational Board meeting on June 6

The University of Guam Board of Regents, the Guam Community College Board of Trustees, and the Guam Education Board will hold a Joint Educational Board meeting on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 4pm in AV Room #1 of the RFK Library in the Tan Siu Lin Building, UOG campus, Mangilao.

Maritime transportation system recovery exercise

SANTA RITA, Guam—Coast Guard Sector Guam will host a press conference to discuss the Coast Guard’s Maritime Transportation System Recovery exercise. The exercise will focus on all recovery aspects of the Mariana Islands Maritime Transportation System after a typhoon makes landfall on Guam.

The press conference will take place at Coast Guard Sector Guam on Tuesday, June 7th from 1pm to 2pm. Request RSVPs be sent to william.white@uscg.mil no later than June 1st. (PR)
