John Gonzales LIVE schedule
John Gonzales LIVE will replay today and tomorrow, May 18 and 19, the program that aired last Wednesday, “Social and Economic Impacts of Integrated Resorts,” from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on TV Channel 14.

This Wednesday, May 20, the program will tackle the subject “Public Safety Awareness and Community Crimes” from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on TV Channel 14. Guests include DPS Commissioner James C. Deleon Guerrero and Customs Director Jose C. Mafnas.

Memorial Day proclamation signing today
The Office of the CNMI/Military Veterans Affairs would like to inform the general public, veterans, and families of our fallen heroes that the Memorial Day proclamation signing will be held today, May 18, 2015, at 10am at the Office of the Governor’s conference room. Ayuda Network moves to new office
The office of Ayuda Network, Inc. and the Commonwealth Respite Service Program has moved to Capital Hill, Building No. 1367 across from the Center for Independent Living on Anatahan Drive. The Ayuda phone line has also been changed from 234-7469 to 322-7469, fax line to 322-7468. (Ayuda)

Child car seat checkpoints on Saipan
The Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section will be conducting child car seat checkpoints on Saipan today and on Wednesday. Certified child passenger safety technicians will check car seats for proper installation and advise parents and caregivers how to choose the right car seats and install them properly in their vehicles.

Today, May 18, 2015, the checkpoint is from 7am to 8:15am along Chalan Pale Arnold, Puerto Rico by the U.S. Army Reserve Center on the southbound lane. This will be followed at 9:30am to 10:4am on Beach Road, Garapan, across the Bank of Pacific on the southbound lane.

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 4pm to 5:15pm along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Chalan Kiya by CUC Waterloo on the westbound lane. This will be followed at 6:30pm to 7:45pm along Beach Road, Susupe, in front of the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Building on the northbound lane. (DPS)

Tinian DPS sets sobriety checkpoints
The Tinian Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section will be conducting DUI/sobriety checkpoints on the dates and time listed below:

Monday, May 22, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm, eastbound lane by baseball field; 4pm to 5:15pm, southbound lane by Youth Center

Friday, May 25, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm, eastbound lane by baseball field; 4pm to 5:15pm, southbound lane by Youth Center. (DPS)

MINA announces the 2015 Green Gala
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance. To help celebrate the organization’s birthday and raise funds for its work to preserve and protect the CNMI’s environment and biodiversity, MINA will be hosting its annual Green Gala 2015, scheduled for Sept. 4, 2015.
