KHS to issue report cards today
Kagman High School will be issuing its fourth quarter progress reports today, May 14, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at the KHS cafeteria. Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. End-of-the-year raffle tickets will be available once the parent or guardian arrives to get their child’s report. (PR)
MHS to issue report cards today
Marianas High School will be distributing its 4th quarter mid-progress report cards today, May 14, 2015, at the MHS Dolphin Gymnasium from 4pm to 6pm. Memorial Day proclamation signing
The Office of the CNMI/Military Veterans Affairs would like to inform the general public, veterans, and families of our fallen heroes that the Memorial Day proclamation signing will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015, at 10am at the Office of the Governor’s conference room.

Japan Consulate to offer class on Japanese culture
The Consular Office of Japan in Saipan will organize a class about Japanese culture on May 28, 2015, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Anyone interested must register their name by Monday, May 25, 2015, by contacting cojsf@ag.mofa.go.jp.
The class—which will be held at the Consular Office of Japan’s conference room on the second floor of the Bank of Hawaii Building, Mariana Heights Business Park, Puerto Rico, Saipan—will be open to just 15 people on the first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be taught Origami (paper folding), Japan video topics, etc. (PR)
MINA announces the 2015 Green Gala
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance. To help celebrate the organization’s birthday and raise funds for its work to preserve and protect the CNMI’s environment and biodiversity, MINA will be hosting its annual Green Gala 2015, scheduled for Sept. 4, 2015.
