Playdate for new moms and their kids
M.O.T.T.s (Moms of Tiny Tots) is a fun playdate group for moms with children around 0 to 18 months old. The group will meet Tuesday, March 6, at 10:30am and then every other Tuesday following. It is located at Church 360, Suite 103 in the Marianas Business Plaza (the former Nauru Building). So come on out for a time of fun and fellowship with a bunch of cool ladies and their kiddos! Air Force training on Farallon de Medinilla
The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla on March 5-9, from 7am to 5pm. The general public-especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators-are advised to stay clear from the area during the times and dates indicated. The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla training area will be on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants. (PR)
General farmers meeting
This is to inform all farmers that the Department of Lands and Natural Resources will be hosting a general farmers meeting for election of new administrators for the Saipan and Northern Islands Soil and Water Conservation District. The term of office for the new administrators is from fiscal year 2012 to 2015. The meeting will be held at the Kagman Division of Agriculture station on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, from 10am to 11:30am. KHS progress reports out next week
To all parents/guardians of Kagman High School: Progress reports will be issued next week Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Teachers will distribute for all subjects. Please ask your child for their 1st – 4th period teachers’ and classroom numbers. This will lessen your time on where to go when you are getting their progress report.
