Local GOP caucus on March 15
The Republican Party of the Northern Mariana Islands will hold its caucus on March 15, from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Minatchom Atdao pavilion in Susupe. Voting starts promptly at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm. (PR)
Free dental fillings and extractions on Tinian this weekend
Dentists from the Saipan SDA Dental Clinic will be arriving on Tinian this Friday, March 4, to perform free dental fillings and extractions at the Tinian Health Center dental office.
Fillings and extractions will be conducted on Friday, March 4, and Sunday, March 6, at THC dental clinic.
Hours of operation are from 9am to 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break from 11:30am through 12pm.
This free dental service will be conducted on a first come first served basis courtesy of the CNMI 7th Day Adventist Church. (PR)
MIFICPA tax seminar tomorrow, March 5
The Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs and Accountants is inviting the public to this year’s tax seminar, to be held on March 5, 2015, a Saturday, from 8am to 12pm at the Coral Ocean Point. This year’s tax seminar will focus on tax updates for 2015, changes in tax laws, and tax filing requirements. David J. Burger, director for Burger & Comer, PC Certified Public Accountants, will be the guest speaker.
Registration starts at 7:30am. Registration fee for members is $20. Non-members and non-accountants are also welcome for the same fee, which includes refreshments, lunch, and certificate of attendance.
We encourage participants to turn in their tax questions ahead of time to facilitate the question-and-answer portion of the seminar by contacting any of the organizers below.
