Karidat closed
Karidat Social Services was closed to the public yesterday, March 30, 2020, as it works to transition its food assistance to curbside distribution. Rental assistance will also be closed, as Karidat develops a new system that is safe for everyone. Please check Karidat’s Facebook page for more information. (PR)

4.4M quake in Agrihan
At 12:45pm on March 27 2020, a report of a 4.4-magnitude earthquake occurred 30 kilometers northwest of Agrihan in the Northern Islands of the CNMI. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue any tsunami warnings or advisories. For more information, call the CNMI State Warning Point at 237-8000. (PR)

Notice of suspension of programs
The CNMI Energy Division Office is temporarily suspending all program services for the Weatherization Assistance Program and the State Energy Program until further notice. The Division of Energy will announce additional information and updates on program services once office operations resume and return to normal. (PR)
