Islandwide cleanup on April 20
The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality’s Cleanup Brigade will be joining the 2018 Environmental Awareness Month Islandwide Cleanup on Friday, April 20, from 3pm to 4:30pm and Saturday, April 21, from 8am to 10am. Women’s summit next week
The CNMI Women’s Association and Women’s Affairs Office is set to hold a two-day Women’s Summit at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center. Themed “Press For [Continued] Progress,” the summit will be on March 26 and March 27, from 7:30am to 4pm on both days. Registration ends today, March 21, 2018. Kagman church to host free breakfast
Kagman Community Church in Kagman III will be having a free community breakfast this Saturday, March 24, from 9am to 9:30am and a clothing/slipper giveaway from after breakfast, 11am. Please bring a bag or box to take clothes and slippers home with you. All are welcome! (PR)
Military training at Warning Area 517
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training at Warning Area 517 from 10am of March 22 to 10am of March 23. It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. W-517 is activated south of latitude 12° 40’ 00”N. Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Banks are open for public use. (PR)
