Survivors, caregivers support meeting on Thursday

All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association support meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2019, starting at 5:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. Military training at FDM, Warning Area 517

ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force started training yesterday at the island of Farallon de Medinilla, from 8am to 10pm daily. It will last until March 15.

The U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps also started training yesterday at Warning Area 517, from 12:05am to 11:55pm daily. It will last until March 21.

It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.

The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla is in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island.

For the W-517 training, the Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Banks will be closed for public use. W-517 begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. (PR)

Kagman schools to have PTSA meeting

This is to inform all parents, guardians, and the community that the Kagman cluster of schools will be having a Parents Teachers Students Association meeting on Tuesday, March 19, at 5:30pm in the Kagman Elementary School cafeteria.
