Music Trivia Day at JKPL tomorrow

Join us at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library for Trivia Day for a fun time of music, trivia, and laughter! This free program for ages 13 and up will be held tomorrow, June 26, from 1pm to 1:45pm. Guam CHamoru commission meeting set

The Kumisión i Fino’ CHamoru yan i Fina’nå’guen i Historia yan i Lina’la’ Taotao Tåno’ (Commission on CHamoru Language and the Teaching of History and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam) will meet on July 2, 2018, from 2pm to 4pm at the Fasilidat Idukasion CHamoru Guma’ Faninadahen Kosas Guahan Senadot Antonio M. Palomo board conference room on the second floor, Hagatna. Military training at FDM, Warning Area 517

ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training at Farallon de Medinilla on June 25-29, from 9am to 8pm.

The military will also conduct training at Warning Area 517 on June 26-27, from 6pm to 10pm.

It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.

The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island.
W-517 is activated south of latitude 12° 40’ 00″N. Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Banks are open for public use. (PR)
