Water service interruption today in Chalan Kanoa
There will be an emergency water service interruption today, June 24, 2021, from 8:3am to 4:30pm, for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers along Anita Avenue in Chalan Kanoa.
A waterline leak was identified Tuesday afternoon on Anita Avenue and water was temporarily shut off at 2pm at that time to minimize water loss but was turned back on at 2pm yesterday. The emergency water service interruption today is to isolate an 8-inch waterline on Anita Avenue for our operators to perform the leak repair. Water services will resume soon after.
For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, CUC advises the public to exercise caution or take alternative routes.

Emergency water service interruption in As Matuis, San Roque, Achugao, Tanapag
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. implemented an emergency water service interruption yesterday for customers in the following areas: As Matuis, San Roque, Achugao and Tanapag due to the isolation of an 8-inch mainline leak located on Mamate Loop in San Roque for water operators to perform the leak repair.
Water service resumed yesterday but the following water scheduled hours will remain in effect for the customers in As Matuis, San Roque, Achugao and Tanapag areas:
■ Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6am to 6pm
■ Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 24-hours

4.2-magnitude quake in Pagan area
At 2:03pm on June 23, 2021, a report of a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred 18.583°N 145.545°E of Pagan in the Northern Marianas Islands.
