Rotary to install new president on Tuesday
The Rotary Club of Saipan will be installing its new officers on Tuesday, June 25, at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan.
President-elect Marcia Ayuyu will be replacing current president Greg Borja. Each Rotarian presidential term lasts one year.
Borja described 2018 as a difficult year, but it ended well. He gave credit to all the Rotarians for working together during the difficult times. He is excited to have Ayuyu as president.
One highlight in Borja’s term was the Las Vegas Night, with the club netting over $34,000. “Of course, I couldn’t have done it myself…I needed the support from our club members and including our youth members from other activities,” Borja added.
This will be Ayuyu’s first year as president.
