Survivors, caregivers support meeting on June 19

All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association monthly support meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2014, starting at 5:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. GCA open enrollment

Grace Christian Academy open enrollment for school year 2014-2015 has begun. Application for new students will be accepted from K4 to 12th grade. GCA is a part of the U.S. Student & Visitor Exchange Program and is accepting foreign student enrollment. Enrollment packet is available at the Registrar’s office. The packet must be turned in along with all other required documents. A student is officially registered upon paying the registration fee. – June 11-12: Graduation practice in the gym (8:30am-11:30am)
– June 11, 6:30pm: Last PTA meeting for the school year, MHS Dolphin Theater
– June 11-12: Final exams for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders
– June 13, 9am-10:30am: Awards Ceremony, MHS Gym
– June 16, 4pm: Graduation Ceremony, MHS Gym (Early dismissal at 12pm)
– June 19: Last day for students  (Early dismissal at 12pm)
– June 24: Report cards are available for pick up
– June 30: Registration deadline for new and incoming 9th grade students
– June 30 – Aug. 8: Summer and online school
– July 7 – Aug. 1: Extended year program

MHS Class of ’89 activities

The Marianas High School Class of 1989 will be holding a special Mass this Friday, June 13, starting at 6pm, at San Jose Church. The Mass is being held in celebration of the MHS Class of ‘89’s 25th year reunion. For more information, contact Gernadine Camacho at 483-1433. (PR)

The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its regular meeting on June 17, 2014, Tuesday, at 3pm at the CCA conference room.
