Karidat re-opens
Karidat is officially open for business once again. We have received our permits and the telephone lines are in. We would like to thank everyone for their patience during our move to our new office. Karidat is now located at the Sister Remedios Community Center, the former Sister Remedios Pre-School building on Chalan Kanoa Drive, in Chalan Kanoa Village. PARS meeting today
The Pacific Association for Radiation Survivors will be holding their general membership meeting today, July 31, 2018, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Tamuning Senior Citizen Community Center. The general members meeting is open to the public.

Military training at Warning Area 517, FDM
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training at Warning Area 517 during the following dates and times:
• July 31, from 11am to 11pm
• Aug. 1-2, from 3pm to 11pm.
The military will also conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla on Aug. 3-5, from 10am to 10pm.
It is recommended the general public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
W-517 is activated south of latitude 12° 40’ 00”N. Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Banks are open for public use.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island. (PR)
