Normal ops for GRTA buses today

The Guam Regional Transit Authority would like to inform the public that its bus operations will run normal operating hours on Liberation Day, Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 5:30am to 7:30pm for Paratransit and Fixed Routes. Guam PTAC webinars on federal contracting

The Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering free live webinars every Thursday in July. Webinars run from 10am to 11:30am and will be conducted via Zoom. Links to the live webinar and the webinar evaluation will be emailed to all registered attendees 15 minutes before the start of the webinar.
July 23 – Marketing to the Federal Government: The government buys products and services differently than the private sector. The Guam PTAC will discuss marketing strategies, essential documents, and how to get your company on “the list”.
July 30 – Subcontracting: Subcontracting is an important part of most government contracts. Subcontracting plans, limitations, and related FAR clauses will be discussed.

Guam issues tax refunds

HAGATNA, Guam—The Department of Revenue & Taxation has processed and the Department of Administration will mail 1,497 2019 tax refund checks this week. The checks total approximately $5,290,967, including refunds garnished to repay government debts, for error-free returns filed on or before Jan. 31, 2020.
