Military training at FDM today
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla today, July 17, from 9am to 4:30pm. It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island. (PR)

Free kid and teen camps this summer
Church 360 will be hosting a free Kids’ Camps on July 17-20, from 9am to noon, at Church 360 for ages 4-11. Kagman Community Church will also be hosting the same Kids’ Camps on July 24-27, from 9am to noon.

Church 360 will also be hosting free Teen Sports Clinics on July 17-20, from 2:30pm to 5pm at the Oleai Sports Complex.

Kagman Community Church will also host the same Teen Sports Clinics on July 24-27, from 2:30pm to 5pm at the Kagman II basketball court and field. The Kagman Basketball Clinic will also be open to high school boys.

Youth fishing derby on Rota on July 23
The Rota Mayor’s Office will be hosting a youth fishing derby at the Teteto Beach on Sunday, July 23, from 9am to 4pm. Interested participants must fill out application forms at the Rota Mayor’s Office. Participants must be ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. There will be an orientation at the Teteto Pavilion on Sunday, July 23, at 8:30am. Cash prizes will be given to the participant who collects the most number of fish. Prizes are $75 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place. (MVA)

MyPROS to host July 22 gala
The Marianas Young Professionals will host a White Beach Gala at the Surf Club on July 22. Tickets can be purchased from any Events Committee member. Tickets previously bought are still honored for the new date. For more information, check out MYPros Facebook page at facebook.com/mypros670/. (PR)
