Rota presentation on Economic Model today

The CNMI Department of Commerce will be hosting a round of public presentations to advise the general public on the final development of the CNMI’s Economic Model. The CNMI Department of Commerce will host the presentation on Rota today, July 15, 2014, at 6pm at the Rota Mayor’s Office on Rota. Video-teleconference will be available at the NMC campus located on Tinian. Red Cross training schedule

The American Red Cross-NMI Chapter is scheduled to conduct Preparedness Health & Safety training on the following dates:

– Tues., July 15, at 6pm: Adult CPR/AED

– Tues., July 15, at 6pm: Adult First Aid/CPR/AED (session 1 of 2)

– Wed., July 16, at 6pm: First Aid

Survivors, caregivers support meeting on July 24

All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association monthly support meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2014, starting at 5:30pm at Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. CCA board meeting on July 22

The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 3pm at the CCA conference room. Agenda includes reports from the president and program updates. All board meetings are open to the public. 2014 CariPac Summer Internship Program

The Northern Marianas College – Cooperative Research and Extension Education Services is inviting incoming junior and senior high school students to apply for the 2014 CariPac Summer Internship Program on Saipan and Tinian. The program starts July 28 and ends on Aug. 22. The deadline for submitting applications is July 11, 2014, at 4:30pm. For more information call 237-6844 or 6855. Written drivers exams at UOG reset for July 16

The written drivers examinations originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 11, at the University of Guam, have been rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon, July 16. Test takers are advised to arrive at their originally scheduled examination time. (PR)
