Humanities awards on Thursday

The Northern Marianas Humanities Council will be hosting the 21st Governor’s Humanities Awards at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Giovanni’s Restaurant on Thursday, Jan. 24, starting at 11am. (PR)

Kagman PTSA meeting today

The Kagman cluster of schools will be having a Parents Teachers Students Association meeting today, Jan. 15, 2019 at 5:30pm at the Chacha Ocean View Middle School cafeteria. Call the school at 237-3921, 664-4100, or 664-3911 if you have any questions or concerns. (PR)

Today is final sweep for typhoon debris

Today is the final sweep of all typhoon debris. As the men and women clearing the way for final sweeps throughout the villages, they ask that residents do not throw their household garbage into the storm debris piles. After Jan. 15, 2019, any household garbage found alongside the public right-of-way will be considered littering. This illegal dumping will result in fines in accordance with the CNMI Litter Control Regulations. (BECQ)
