MMAC team meeting set for Jan. 12

The 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee will be holding its next team captains’ meeting on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. The meeting will begin promptly at 5:30pm. “We’re inviting all MMAC teams to attend as well as all schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies or families interested in participating in MMAC 2012,” said 2012 MMAC overall committee chair Catherine Attao-Toves. “All funds raised at the MMAC are used for cancer patient assistance and other cancer-related services so we ask that all members of the community attend this important meeting. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the CNMI so we appreciate the community’s assistance in raising badly needed funds,” said Attao-Toves.
