Saipan municipal council to meet Friday
The 16th Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council will hold its 13th Regular Session, on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at 10am at the Saipan and Northern Mariana Islands Municipal Council office at Suite 105, Courtney’s Plaza in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan. Pursuant to Public Law 8-41 the agenda will include the presentation of reports by council members, administrative officer; financial officer (financial status), and special project coordinator, who will give an update on the CCTV Initiative and Comprehensive Study. 5.1-magnitude quake near Guam
At 9:26pm on Feb. 21, 2022, a report of a 5.1-magnitude earthquake occurred 11.746°N 144.483°E in Merizo Village, Guam. At 6:10pm on Feb. 21, 2022, a report of a 5.0-magnitude earthquake occurred 13.626°N 145.000°E in Yigo Village, Guam.
