Lane closed for Bubble Color Run
The southbound lane along Beach Road will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, from 4am to 8am for the Triple J 5K 2019 race for runner’s safety. Start point is behind Garapan Farmer’s Market to proceed south. Turn-around point is 2.5km past the Quartermaster Intersection at Blue Beach House Hotel. (PR)
Military training at Farallon de Medinilla
ASAN, Guam—The U.S. military will conduct training on Feb. 18-22 at the island of Farallon de Medinilla, from 8am to 7pm.
It is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island. (PR)
CHamoru commission meetings
The Kumisión i Fino’ CHamoru yan i Fina’nå’guen i Historia yan i Lina’la’ i Taotao Tåno’ (Commission on CHamoru Language and the Teaching of the History and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam) will hold a special meeting on Feb. 21, 2019, Thursday, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. The meeting will take place in the former Guam Museum building or the Garden House in Hagåtña. Agenda items are approval of Feb. 14, 2019, minutes and discussion of proposed press conference. Work session will follow.

Xavier High School entrance exam
Xavier High School in the Federated States of Micronesia will be conducting its entrance exam here on Saipan on Feb. 23, Saturday, at Mt. Carmel School.
