OVR counselors available at Cha Cha Ocean View Middle School
The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation counselors will be participating as an exhibitor at the DYS 12th Annual Parent Leadership Development Workshop at Cha Cha Ocean View Middle School from 7:30am to11:30am. Counselors will be doing intake and scheduling of appointments if necessary.

If you or anyone you know has a disability, wants to work or is working, and is interested in receiving VR services, please come to the Cha Cha Ocean View Middle School.

As Teo Santa Lourdes Novena and Fiesta this Friday
The As Teo community is happy to announce the annual Santa Lourdes Novena and Fiesta for 2016. The novena will begin on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016. The novena from Feb. 5 to Feb. 12 will be at 5pm at the Santa Lourdes Shrine in As Teo. On Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, Santa Lourdes Fiesta day, the rosary and novena will start at 2pm, and the Mass will be at 3pm, followed by procession after Mass.

Family grief support meeting today
The Compassionate Friends of Saipan will be holding their monthly grief support meeting today, Feb. 4, from 6pm to 7:30pm, in the NMPASI conference room on Middle Road, in Gualo Rai.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others to be supportive. Today more than 600 chapters serving all 50 states plus Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan offer friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents and other family members during the natural grieving process after a child has died.

Regional Language Arts Conference Feb. 19-20
The University of Guam’s 28th Annual Regional Language Arts Conference will be held at the Pacific Star Hotel on Friday, Feb. 19, from 4pm to 6pm, and on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 8am to 4pm.

UOG looking for vendors of 2016 Charter Day
MANGILAO, Guam—The University of Guam is looking for vendors who are interested in sponsorship, selling products, and soliciting information throughout the Charter Day 2016 event. Vendor slots are open to profit, non-profit, government, and others. Charter Day is on March 8, 2016 and begins at 8am. This year’s theme is “Triton Spirit: One University, Many Voices.”
