MHS PTSA meeting on Wednesday
All Marianas High School parents, guardians, and students are invited to attend the MHS PTA meeting this Wednesday Feb. 26, 2014, at 6:30pm in the MHS Dolphin Theatre. We will get an update on MHS administration, programs, and future events with reports from Student Council and the Parent Advisory Council meeting. Show your support for your Mighty Dolphin and their school by being an active member of the MHS PTA. (PR)
NMC, BECQ at Saipan chamber meeting
The next General Membership Meeting of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for next week Wednesday, March 5, at the Pacific Islands Club Charley’s Cabaret. Luncheon begins at 11:30am and meeting starts at 12pm.
The Chamber will receive presentations from the Northern Marianas College, with updates on their recent accreditation and workforce development efforts. The second presenter will be the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality on stormwater runoff pollution and plans to clean drainages and information on source pollution remedies.

John Gonzales LIVE schedule
John Gonzales LIVE will have back-to-back shows on Wednesday, Feb. 26 on local TV Channel 14.
The first topic, “Safe & Orderly Schools,” will be from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Guests include Glenn Muna, PSS associate commissioner for administration (SOS Committee); Yvonne Pangelinan, principal, San Vicente Elementary (SOS Committee); and Jack Diaz (SOS Committee).
The second topic, “Tanapag Fuel Farm FUDS,” will be from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Guests include Helen Takemoto, Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District; Tom Maruyama, ACOE; Derek Yasaka, ACOE Contractor, WCP Consulting; Chris Vias, ACOE Contractor, WCP; and Ray Masga, BECQ DEQ.
The show will be live on Feb. 26, with replays on Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4, both from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
