San Antonio MS PTSA meeting today
The PTSA officers of San Antonio Middle School is inviting all parents and guardians to the PTSA meeting today, Feb. 2, 5:30pm in the school cafeteria.
Immediately after the PTSA meeting is the 2nd Quarter Report Card Distribution and parent conference. We encourage parents and guardians to meet with their child’s teachers.
UOG Science Building all clear; operations resume
The University of Guam has given the “all clear” for the Science Building. Normal operations have resumed.
Earlier this morning, a gas-like odor was reported in the Science Building. The cause of the odor was an unsecured gas valve in one of the chemistry labs. No one was injured.
Green flag for east, south beaches of Saipan
The Division of Environmental Quality has given the recreational beaches in the east and south of Saipan green flags.
DEQ analyzed water samples collected from 12 Saipan’s east and south recreational beaches this week as part of the regularly scheduled sampling. None of the samples collected contained excessive concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria nor did they exceed the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards.
