Garage sale fundraiser tomorrow

The MP United Football Club U12 will be hosting a Garage Sale Fundraiser for the their trip to Japan on March 20-24. The garage sale will be held tomorrow, Feb. 15, at the Kilili Pavilion in Susupe, from 7.30am to 12pm. (PR)

Survivors, caregivers support meeting

All people facing cancer, their family members, and caregivers are invited to the next Commonwealth Cancer Association monthly support meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, starting at 5:30pm at Hyatt Regency, Chamolinian Room. Military training on Farallon de Medinilla

The U.S. military will conduct training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla on Feb. 15, from 8am to 7pm The general public especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators are advised to stay clear from the area during the times and dates indicated.

The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla training area will be on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants. (PR)

MIFICPA sets annual tax seminar

The Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs and Accountants, or MIFICPA, invites the public to this year’s tax seminar on Feb. 15, 2014, Saturday, from 8am to 12pm at the Seaside Hall, Kanoa Resort. This year’s tax seminar will focus on tax updates for 2014, changes in tax laws, tax filing requirements. Registration starts at 7:30am.

Registration fee for members is $20 (includes $5 membership renewal). Non-members and non-accountants are also welcome for the same fee, which includes refreshments and a certificate of attendance.
