‘Glow Walk, Run or Wheel’ on Dec. 26
The Voices of the CNMI – Tinian Chapter and Team Koka culminates the year with a “Glow Walk, Run or Wheel” on Dec. 26, 2014, at the Natibu Park at 5:30pm. Shirts, bags and glow gear will be given to the first 75 people that register. Registration is $10. Proceeds will used for camps, awareness and training of self-advocates.
The Voices of the CNMI wishes to thank the Lt. Governor Jude U. Hofschneider, Office Of The Mayor, Senator Francisco M. Borja and Tinian Delegation, Tinian Municipal Council, Division of Youth Services, Elaine C. Landfill, transfer station schedule
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, the Lower Base Transfer Station and the Marpi Landfill will be closed at 12:30pm. Also, in observance of Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, both the Lower Base Transfer Station and the Marpi Landfill will be closed all day. Regular schedule will resume Friday, Dec. 26, and Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, from 7:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 4pm. Thank you and have a safe and happy Christmas Day. Navy training on Farallon de Mendinilla
ASAN, Guam–The U.S. Navy will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Mendinilla Dec. 23 from 4:30pm to 9:30pm. The general public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators are advised to stay clear from the area during the date and time indicated. The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Mendinilla will be on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants. (PR)
